Colorado is a land of contrasts. In the South lay high desert plateau,
littered with cliff dwellings of ancestral puebloans hewn into the
high mesas. The state's northern reaches lay the gloriously rugged
peaks of the Rocky Mountains and their many lakes and wilflowers

the Southwest corner, but the sheer beauty of its landscape beckons
me to return often in the future
