Two
beams of light pierce the lower Manhattan skyline where the twin
towers of the World Trade Center once stood. The two 50-square-foot
beams are created by two banks of 44 high-power lights and can be
seen 20 miles away.
It
saddens me every time I look at this image, as back in the late
90s I used to travel to New York City many times each year. I
would always stay at the Marriott World Trade Center
which connected both Towers. I still can't believe they're gone.
