Abandoned
since 1956, the town of Kolmanskop in the heart of the Namib desert
in South West Africa, is slowly being reclaimed by Nature.
I like this
particular composition, for it adds a certain air of mystery to
what lay in wait up the stairs and inside the room. The choice
of a fish eye lens almost pulls you up the railing, while at the
same time, the bright reflected light off the wall inside the
room beckons equally.
