Abandoned
since 1956, the town of Kolmanskop in the heart of the Namib desert

Metaphorically,
to me, the sand represents time and the doorways represent different

fills with memories, knowledge and experiences shaping who we
are. I used a fish eye lens on this shot to accentuate the sheer
volume of sand as it swells inside the fragile wood structures.
