To most Westerners, Africa may as well be on another planet. The
great distance between the dark continent and the Americas breeds
a mystery and wonderment of that place so far away. It is only when
one makes the long journey that they can be rewarded with uncovering
one of earth's greatest treasures.
Namibia
is just such a place. A land filled with contrasts; whether it be
the endless sea of sand rising to unreal heights, the vast dry salt
pans teeming with wildlife, the treacherous waters which relentlessly
pound the Skeleton Coast or its great Canyon that leaves a gaping
wound in the earth...its land is a collage of stark, forboding beauty
waiting for discovery.
